100% safe and Virus-Free
It goes without saying, ... but of course, BGPKiller is 100% safe and virus free!
But don't take my word for it and test it before using it (as you should do with anything you download and install on your computer).
I personally use VirusTotal (https://www.virustotal.com/) when I want to be safe before installing a new software.
To make things very clear, here's what this application does :
And here what it does *not* do :
Please feel free to ask more questions if I there's any security aspect you want to clarify before using it.
But in summary, it can not be any safer and simpler.
This application does nothing else than killing your Avira ads.
Enjoy safely.

To make things very clear, here's what this application does :
- Runs in your Windows System Tray
- Uses minimal system resources
- Kills ads when they show up
- Add an entry to your Windows Startup folder (so that it automatically starts at every boot)
- Logs its activity in a user-readable text file (bgpkiller.log) (located in the "%AppData%\BGPKiller" folder)
And here what it does *not* do :
- No socket (network) connection of any kind to anything
- No Windows system setting changes of any kind
- Nothing ever written to your Windows Registry
- No toolbar or any other kind of ad-ware installed
- Nothing ever written to your hard disk (except for the log file -- see above)
- No other hidden function of any kind
Please feel free to ask more questions if I there's any security aspect you want to clarify before using it.
